Certified mobile windshield chip repair — we come to your home, office, or shop by appointment. Most repairs take about 30 minutes, at a fraction of the cost of a new windshield, and you keep your original factory seal.
A chip the size of a quarter is a half-hour fix. Left alone, one cold morning or one pothole turns it into a crack — and then the whole windshield has to come out.
No trip charges, no surprises, no upsell. We quote you before we start, and if we can't repair it safely we'll tell you before you spend a dollar.
Premium and exotic vehicles are priced separately. Send your year, make and model along with your photos and we'll tell you upfront whether yours falls into that category and what it will cost — before you book, and always before we start.
We specialize in chips, not cracks. Chip repair is where the results are consistently good, so it's what we price and what we promise. Cracks are a different job — longer, harder, and far less predictable. We'll look at a short crack in person and tell you honestly whether it's worth attempting. We don't repair long cracks at all.
Insurance: Alabama doesn't require carriers to waive your deductible, but many waive it voluntarily on chip repair because it costs them far less than a replacement. We're happy to help you check with your carrier before you decide.
Three steps, and you never have to drive anywhere.
Two photos, your name, your vehicle's year/make/model, and where it'll be. Here's exactly what to send → Get it all in one text and we'll come back with a firm price — before anyone drives anywhere.
Home, office, job site, or your shop. Appointments run mornings and by arrangement. You don't have to be there as long as we can reach the vehicle.
Damage sealed, strength restored, chip stopped in its tracks. Pay by card, cash, or app. Backed by a lifetime warranty.
Every repair is performed to ANSI/AGSC/NWRD/ROLAGS 002-2022 — the national standard for repair of laminated automotive glass. It defines what's safely repairable and what isn't. We'd rather turn down a job than hand you back a windshield you're unhappy with.
Rule of thumb: if it's smaller than a quarter, it's very likely repairable. The standard permits larger repairs than this — we work inside these limits on purpose, because a repair attempted at the edge of what's possible is a repair more likely to run.
If it needs replacing, we'll say so and point you to a shop we trust. No charge, no hard feelings.
No surprises when we pull up. Here's exactly what it says, and you can read the whole thing right now.
Every reputable glass shop uses one of these. We'd rather you read it on your couch than in a parking lot with a technician waiting.
No trip charge in Auburn, Opelika, or the immediate surrounding area.
Somewhere else in Lee County? Ask. We take work outside this area case by case, and we'll tell you honestly whether the drive makes sense before you count on us.
We also contract directly with repair shops, dealerships, used car lots, and company fleets across Lee County — on-site service on a standing schedule, vehicles never leave your property, invoiced monthly. Free inspection to mark every repairable chip on the lot, and a W-9 and certificate of insurance for vendor onboarding.
Account pricing is set per account. Text (334) 466-1815 or email [email protected] and we'll come see you.
No, and be careful of anyone who promises it will. Windshield repair restores the structural strength of the glass and stops the damage from spreading — that's the real job. Cosmetically, most repairs improve by roughly 70–90%, but a faint blemish usually remains. We'll show you the result from the driver's seat before you pay.
About 30 minutes for a straightforward chip — a bullseye or a small star break. Add roughly 10 minutes for each additional chip on the same windshield. You can keep working, stay inside, or run errands — we just need access to the vehicle.
Because we'd rather do one thing consistently well than two things unevenly. Long crack repair is slow, technically demanding, and the result is unpredictable enough that we're not comfortable charging for it. The national standard permits repairs up to 14 inches; plenty of technicians attempt them. We've chosen not to. If you have a long crack, you need a replacement, and we'll tell you that for free rather than take your money for a coin flip.
We work by appointment. Text a photo of the damage and we'll book you into the next opening — usually within a day or two. Scheduling this way means we arrive with the right expectations, the glass is at the right temperature, and you're not waiting around for a window that never comes.
Yes. Kent is a GlasWeld Certified Windshield Repair Technician, trained hands-on and credentialed through August 2027. Every repair follows ANSI/AGSC/NWRD/ROLAGS 002-2022, the American National Standard for repair of laminated automotive glass.
Often, yes. Alabama law doesn't require insurers to waive your deductible for glass, but many carriers waive it voluntarily on chip repair because it costs them far less than funding a full replacement. Call your carrier and ask specifically about "windshield repair" — we're glad to walk you through it.
Yes. The resin is fully UV-cured before we leave, so there's no waiting period and no adhesive to set. That's one of the real advantages over replacement, which typically requires a safe-drive-away time of an hour or more.
It's uncommon, but it's a real risk with any windshield repair — especially on older damage and star breaks. The glass is already broken before we arrive, and pressure, drilling, resin, and temperature change can all cause a break to run. We'll tell you honestly before we start if a particular break carries elevated risk, and you sign a short authorization acknowledging it before we touch the glass — you can read that page here, and we'll text it to you when we book so it's never a surprise. If a repair we performed later fails, our warranty credits everything you paid toward a replacement.
Generally no. Chip repair doesn't remove or reposition the glass, so ADAS cameras mounted behind the windshield stay exactly where the factory put them — that's a replacement issue, not a repair issue. If damage sits directly in a camera's field of view, we'll tell you and recommend against repairing it there.
For as long as you own the vehicle. If the break we repaired spreads, we credit 100% of what you paid toward a windshield replacement. The warranty covers the specific damage we repaired — not new damage from a new impact.
Texting a photo is the fastest way — it answers half the questions before we ever speak, and you'll usually hear back within the hour during business hours.
It's the fastest way to get an answer. Send these five things to (334) 466-1815 and we'll come back with a firm price and a time — usually within the hour.
Two photos and three lines of text. That's the whole booking process.

June through September we schedule mornings and indoor locations only. Hot glass makes for a weaker repair — working cool is part of doing it right.
